Aunt Barb's Legacy is a small quilt pattern company selling wholesale to independently owned quilt shops. The patterns are inspired from the quilts made by Barbara K. Flederjohn (1887-1966) while living in Southern Indiana. Aunt Barb moved to Minnesota in 1954 to live with her sister when they both became widows. Aunt Barb had no children so when she passed away each of her great nieces and nephews received a quilt. These patterns preserve her legacy.
Aunt Barb's Legacy quilt patterns have easy to follow directions with diagrams and quilt outline for layout planning. Directions for making the quilt back are included in the quilt pattern.
These quilt patterns are inspired by actual antique quilts. The traditional blocks and layout of the quilt give the quilt maker an opportunity to work with color to make each quilt unique.
